Tell us, what is your project about?
– On a high level, what we do is helping travellers in SL trafik to travel safe, also making sure that the subway trains arrives without delays.

What is your role?
– I have three roles, Scrum Master, Agile Coach, and test leader.

What are you challenges at Trafikförvaltningen?
– The biggest challenge is the big variation on what should be delivered, it is because they handle a big geographical area. They want to lower the cost for the travellers through predicting the work needed in the trafik and help suppliers to take care of their job.

How does the solution look like at the clients site?
– It is very complex solution that handle big set of Data. They use old Data, current, and make predications. So the product is growing every day and becomes more complex for every day. Very unique solution that is built for Stockholm.

More practically speaking, what do you do?
– Coach and lead, preaper for future challenges, develop the clients processes, Develop the way of working, and the most fun part, automating the process with a Quality mindset.

What challenges does that bring?
– The biggest challenges is related to the high phased tempo at the client site. It is my job to make sure that we can deliver the product.

What is the most interesting part your assignment?
– The big impact we have on people and how many travellers we help every day!

What have you learned?
– How to Automate, use Intelije, Object oriented model automation, project place and something called Maximo.

Which technologies, tools, and languages do you use?
– Jira Cloud, Trello, Intelije, Object oriented modell automation, project place, java and Maximo.

How have SwedQ helped you?
– They give me the right circumstances to develop my skills, I got to understand what a “Quality Mindset” means.

Which client do you currently work with?
I am working at Atlas Copco – ACDC (Atlas Copco data communication).

What is the business of the department?
Our responsibility is to develop the software managing the hardware controllers and monitor / report the output coming from it.

What is your responsibilities?
Software developer; responsible for the canonical model for the integration between hardware versions.

What are the challenges you facing on your assignment?
Our big challenge is the high volume / frequency of the data and the ability to integrate iwht other systems in real time which makes it very time critical!

How does the client solution look
The solution is very organized and well architectured keeping all best practices of a cloud oriented system.

What do you find most interesting at the assignment
The most interesting part in this assignment is; finding new ways to enhance the performance and scalability while maintaining the system reliable.

What have you learned so far
Team work is the key factor for me, it helps me learning new technologies and techniques in an easy and smouth way. Also using the best practices for the cloud using Windows Azure.

Vad är ditt ansvarsområde
Verifiering och test av hårdvara/mjukvara för noder i systemet. Rapportera fel och brister i en testrapport.

Vilka utmaningar har kunden
Att kunna säkerställa strömförsörjning till utrustning då huvudströmmen går med hjälp av UPS/Batterier. Ericsson Power Systems möjliggör en kraftlösning på platsen med höga krav på tillförlitlighet och tillgänglighet.

Hur ser lösningen ut hos kunden
Kontinuerlig fjärrövervakning med hjälp av en enhet till noden, BPA som skickar data till en extern enhet för bevakning/åtgärder.

Rollen som Testare

Vad gör du
Utveckling av systemet med verifiering och test av hårdvara/mjukvara för noder i systemet med hjälp av diverse instrument, såsom Oscilloskop, multimetrar och internt utvecklade program såsom Cyclone, OliveOil. Skriver labbrapporter i Word, Excel för inlagring i det interna dokumentsystemet.

Vilka utmaningar står du inför
Hitta sätt att verifiera/testa produkten enligt produktspecifikationen.

Vad finner du är mest intressant
Elektronik och mjukvaran som finns i produkterna och hur de samverkar.

Vad har du lärt dig
Mycket om IoT produkter och Hårdvara/elektronik.

Vilka tekniker använder du dig utav (Tekniker, verktyg och språk)
Moshell, som avläser och styr noden. Cyclone, som avläser och kan styra på modulnivå. Via TeraTerm kommer vi åt Linux som används som plattform för diverse externa program som tex FileZilla och Moshell. Protokoll som används är ModBus, Canbus, TCP/IP.

SwedQ invests in AI & ML – New department

The world is in a fast changing phase, and it is important for SwedQ to be working with bleeding edge technologies and more importantly having a leading role in it. One segment that is growing is AI, and it comes natural to us to make sure that we invest both resources and right personnel in it.

What it means that we are investing in AI & ML means that we both educate the employes of SwedQ and work in a more proactive manners to provide leading consultants for our clients.

The goal is to make AI being 1/3 of SwedQ’s yearly turnover. That goal are we going to reach within 6 months, and we already have recruited our a new Head of AI & ML who is going to start at the beginning of October. (More information is about to come).
